Cashier's checks differ from regular checks in that they are issued and guaranteed by the financial institution, not by the individual who wrote the check. This makes them more secure for large transactions, such as buying a car, when you can't use a debit or credit card or when using cash is risky. Cashier's Checks can be purchased for $2 at any branch.

A Money Order is a safe alternative to cash or a personal check.

• They can be used to pay bills, send money to friends or family, or make purchases.
• Some places, like apartment complexes, require Money Orders because the funds are guaranteed, meaning the recipient is guaranteed to receive the money. 
• Unlike cash, Money Orders can be replaced if lost or stolen.
• Money Orders can be purchased for up to $1,000 at any branch for $2.
